Sourcing Team Manager, Global Firm, $120K basic

Position Description:

Position Title: Sourcing Team Manager


Purpose:
• To implement, manage and support the Sourcing Team in delivering pre-qualified candidates via pro-active sourcing channels to support the experienced hire team nationally
• To support the National Recruitment Director in executing the Experienced Hire Sourcing strategy

Reporting line:
• The Sourcing Team Manager will report to the National Recruitment Director and also be an integral member of the National People and Performance Team

Client groups:
• Indirectly: all service lines. Directly: Experienced Hire recruitment team


Responsibilities:
Strategic sourcing:
• Assist team with the development and documentation of a service line(s) sourcing strategy
• Assist team with the development of a service line(s) Employee Value Proposition
• Develop, implement and document suite of proactive candidate sourcing channels
• Work with Global peer group to ensure that Australia fully leverages functionality of existing technology
• Assist team to build a profile in the passive candidate market (via sources including but not limited to social networking sites such as LinkedIn, Facebook etc)
• Assist team to proactively approach key talent as a result of research, alumni campaigns, or other ‘names generation’ activities
• Assist team to actively promote the Employee Referral program


Recruitment process (when appropriate):
• Develop, implement and document workflows and processes to maximise team efficiency and ensure appropriate KPIs and measures are in place
• Build processes to ensure proactively sourced candidates are comprehensively telephone screened and qualified before ‘hand off’ to Recruitment Managers/Service Lines

Client Management:

• Day to day training and performance management of Sourcing Specialists

• Ensure team is working at maximum productivity (as measured by volume and cost of hiring)
• Ensure team is expert in use of RMS and delivers 100% data integrity for new hires

Project Management & Other Responsibilities:
• Enhance alumni and alumni referrals channel
• Support internal mobility policy
• Assist in definition of Service Line EVP’s
• Assist with enhancement of careers website
• Enhance proactive reporting/communications capabilities, leveraging functionality of RMS and other technologies where appropriate
• Innovate and implement improvements to all sourcing practices
• Manage implementation of new sourcing/recruiting technologies as they arise
• Contribute to Recruitment Project teams


Success will be measured by:
• Documentation of processes
• Successful implementation and operation of Sourcing Team

Selection Criteria:
• Proficient with Microsoft products and extensive use of applicant tracking systems and pro-active sourcing channels
• Tertiary qualification, preferably in Commerce/Human Resources/Marketing discipline
• In-house and/or agency experience in a senior research or recruitment function
• Team management and project management experience


Competencies:
• Communication skills: ability to understand and carry out complex instructions, exceptional verbal and written communication skills, a strong capacity to listen, and outstanding telephone manner.
